I would also like to be able to plan trips in segments and then combine the segements. It is so much easier to manage shorter trip segments with fewer waypoint, so combining segments makes a lot of sense. I would also be more inclined to use Autopilot on segments. For now, I will just manually merge trip segments by adding the waypoints from each segment.

I would also like to be able to combine trips. It is much easier to plan things as just a leg of a larger trip, need a way to combine those legs into a complete trip.

I want to combine the Washington, Oregon, California coast trips into one starting in Seattle and ending in San Diego but it's impossible. Can you make it one?

Agreed. Being able to put multiple trips onto the same map allows one to explore where they have been more explicitly. I sometimes do 4-5 trips per year, having a U.S. map show them all would be great.
That said, where on google can you already do this?

I would love to be able to show all the trips I took in a given year like you can do on Google Maps with layers. I road-trip a ton and use this as my primary planner. Being able to combine all my trips for a year or region would be cool so I don’t have to recreate on Google

I agree! I have multiple "basic" general trips and would love to pick and choose to a combined one.
