Currently, waypoint details such as custom names and specific dates are only visible to trip editors for privacy reasons — if you've named a waypoint with something personal like a home address, or don't want to share your exact travel dates, you might not want that visible to anyone with your trip link.

A privacy toggle at the trip level would give users control over whether to share these details with trip link recipients. Users who are comfortable sharing custom names and/or dates could opt in, while the default would remain private for those who aren't.
