When browsing nearby stops in category search results (campgrounds, attractions, etc.) along a route, it would be helpful to see how far off the route a place is and/or how much time and mileage it would add to your trip — directly in the search results, without having to add it as a waypoint first.

Example: "Adds 10 mi · 15 min" or "1.2 miles off route"
